Climate Change, Seeds

The RHS are celebrating Biodiversity by offering free seeds if you join the Variety for Life campaign and if you’re one of the first 1,000 each day for 10 days (from 8 June) http://www.rhs.org.uk/biodiversity

Cafe Direct have been inspired by the care and pride their smallholder farmers put into growing tea, coffee and cocoa. They are passionate about producing great tasting produce and are offering first-hand experience and the fun of growing your own this summe with their handy kit.

“Subject to availability we’re giving new and existing Friends of Cafédirect a fabulous starter pack, which includes a sample of our Medium Roast coffee and three packets of herb seeds (coriander, parsley and basil), along with some handy tips to get you growing.” http://sowyourown.net/free-seeds/

I am not an experienced gardener - more of an enthusiastic amateur who learns by trial and error and is keen to "manage" the effects of the weather on my garden. Writing this blog is my passion and I hope that it will continue to grow, allowing global gardeners to communicate about the effects of climate change on our plants and the future of our gardens.
